Spaghetti with Chilli and Garlic



Serves: 2

Cook Time: 15 mins


INGREDIENTS


  • 200g bacon/turkey ham, cut into strips
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 1 head garlic cloves, sliced 
  • 2 tsp chilli flakes
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup parsleys, minced
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
  • salt to taste



DIRECTIONS


  1. In a pan, heat olive oil with medium heat. Add in ham and fry for a minute. Drain and remove from pan. Set aside.
  2. Cook the spaghetti in a large saucepan of salted boiling water according to the packet instructions.
  3. With the oil in pan, add in garlic, chilli flakes and a pinch of salt. Stir fry until garlic is about to brown. Turn heat off. 
  4. Once spaghetti is ready, drain and put back into the empty saucepan. Add in garlic mixture, ham, parsleys and cheese. Toss to mix well.
  5. Divide the spaghetti into 2 portion on plate to serve. Enjoy.
