Paper Christmas Tree




Do you like this Christmas tree? Here is how to do it.


Things you need:

  • glue gun
  • scissors
  • green color paper
  • red color paper
  • white color paper
  • yellow color paper
  • red color pen/marker/pencil
  • ruler
  • bamboo skewers/any stick
  • black color paper
  • wine bottle cork


For the Christmas tree:

  1. Draw circles with 16cm, 13cm, 10cm, 7cm, and 4cm diameter each on green color paper.
  2. Cut all the circles out with scissors.
  3. Fold the circles in half four times as shown in below video. Then open up the circles and fold into concertina fold for each.
  4. Arrange the circles according to size big to small. Push the center of the big circles into skewers. Glue the center of the circles to the skewer. Repeat with smaller circles. Adjust the height accordingly.
  5. Push bottom of the skewer into center of the cork. Wrap around the cork with black color paper.


For the decoration:

There are many other ways you can decorate your Christmas tree. You can use your creativity to decorate yours.

Star: Cut a 1 cm strip along the long side of a yellow color A4 paper. Watch below video for folding instruction. Once completed, glue the star on top of the tree with glue gun.



Red ribbon: Cut a few 3mm strips along the long side of a red color A4 paper. Roll the strips with pen/ pencil so that it curls. Wrap the curled paper around the tree.

Candy cane: Draw a 45 degrees strip lines with red color pen on the front and back of a white paper. Draw an outline of candy cane shape and cut it out with scissor. Hang the canes on the ribbon.
