Baked Chicken Wings with Five Spice




Serves: 2
Prep Time: 40 mins
Cook Time: 30 minutes


INGREDIENTS


  • 1 kg chicken wings mid section and drummettes
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp five spice powder
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil



DIRECTIONS


  1. Rinse the chicken wings with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
  2. In a big bowl, marinate the chicken wings with all the ingredients. Mix to make sure the wings are nicely coated with the seasonings. Cover the bowl and put in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or better overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place marinated wings in a large baking dish. 
  4. Bake the wings for 30 minutes (15 minutes for each side) until both side turned golden brown. Serve immediately.
Notes: You also can use this marinate for BBQ or grilling. ;)
